Winter is coming to a close...., that means only one thing - pack up the bike for Daytona. Originally planned for the first weekend of the rally, weather has moved my plans to Mid-week. Severe Thunderstorms in the forecast for the East Coast on the first weekend, and rain in Daytona postponed it a bit.

Pulling out of North Carolina on Tuesday - I stopped in Charleston for a client call (making this a business trip, yes?) and on to visit friends in Savannah, GA. Then a night at Bulows Campground near Ormond Beach (www.bulow.com) - a night down in Daytona Beach and the return ride home.

My planned trip to Charleston on the way home was cut short with news of a friends passing back home, so I hopped on the Interstate and came on back, but still a great trip, even if it WAS to a rally!
